journeyman Ford Jennings over 10 rounds at Latchmere
Centre, Battersea, instead of the former WBC champion
Bruce Curry tomorrow afternoon (Saturday).
FORMER stablemates Sylvester Mittee and Kirkland
Laing confront each other for the vacant British welterweight
title they have both already held in a 12-rounder at
the Alexandra Pavilion on Wednesday.

matched more competitively after his fourth round win over
substitute Conroy Nelson in a fight televised by the
Canadian Sports Network.

their veteran instructor Bill Marshall was thoroughly

Dorking competition secretary Pete Matthews apparently
had an initial billing of 15 bouts, but several clubs
subsequently pulled out.
