BUSTER DRAYTON, the 32-year-old veteran from
Philadelphia, landed the bigger punches throughout to win a
majority decision over Carlos Santos, of Puerto Rico, in a
gruelling 15-rounder for the vacant IBF world lightmiddleweight
title at the Brendan Byrne Arena in the
Meadowlands sports complex.

defend his World Boxing Council lightweight title against Edwin
Rosario in an all-Puerto Rican showdown.
