GLASGOW TRANSPORT ABC staged a fine boxing promotion
in'front of a capacity crown at the Cambuslang Rangers club.
All of the host club's boxers won with flyweight John Murphy
and lightweights Mick McKewan and clubmate Colin Harrison
all outstanding.
Main bout of the evening was when Hoover's stylish boxing
southpaw light-welter Duncan Hamilton registered a repeat
unanimous points win over Lochaber's rugged Steve Mcl.eon.
They two had met previously when Hamilton won on points in a
show in Blantvre last December.
