BERNIE. TERRELL, Edmonton (10.7J) beat Panther Cyril,
Biafra (10.11) in the 7th round at York Hall. Referee Harry
Gibbs stopped the fight as Cyril staggered up after a third
count. A southpaw right jab and following hook to the head
had Cyril down for a count of 5 soon after the start of the 7th
round. He was crashed to the boards for the second time, and
again got up, perhaps too soon at 5.
