featherweight Billy Waith is concerned. But whereas
most athletes who have this problem make a definite
choice, one way or the other, Billy told me: " I

FRANK CARPENTER, 1968
ABA heavyweight finalist, has
turned pro with London
manager Bert McCarthy, He
hopes to make his debut at
Wolverhampton on January
26.
Carpenter, 28, made a
comeback this season after

outpointed Billy Wells at
Coventry last month. It was a
revenue win, Wells having
defeated him in the 1968
ABA final.
