WORLD middleweight champion Nino Benvenuti will be guest of hon-
our at the World Sporting Club, Grosvenor House, Park Lane on
Monday when Billy Gray of Walsall, now living in London meets Welsh
champion Carl Gizzi in a contest that Jack Solomons is billing as the
Junior Heavyweight Championship of Great Britain.

BRITISH  featherweight champion Howard Winstone, makinghis first ring appearance since winning the world title,gained a clear ten rounds  points victory over British junior lightweight champion Jimmy Anderson, of Waltham Cross on HarryLevene 's Cavalcade of Champions promotion at t h e Empire Pool,but only after  he had survived a sensational punch in the opening round .
