Maxie landed sufficient punches to win by a wide

ENGLAND avenged their inglorious defeat by
Scotland in Edinburgh earlier this year with a convincing
6-4 win before a small crowd at the Winter

ABA flyweight champion ROY HILTON (Repton)
had the toughest warm up possible for the Scotland
international. Hilton outpointed Leatherhead's JOE
