began training for his fourth
meeting with Manny Pacquiao
on December 8. The Mexican has
been working hard, under the eye
of great trainer Nacho Beristain, at
the Romanza Gym and is confident
of victory in Las Vegas.
Marquez, 39, stated, "I'll be
coming with a lot of preparation
and confidence. The goal is to try
to win the fight by knockout. Two
factors accompany me: Intelligence
and the experience."
Beristain outlined what they
were working on.

PAT McCANN, European Schoolboy
champion in 2010, is targeting
success in the Junior ABAs before
contemplating an assault on the
senior ranks.
He picl<ed up valuable experience
in those international adventures.
"I was fighting the best from
each country. Over there they box
very careful, you had to picl< yoUr
shots and make sure you make no
mistakes. Because if you do, you get
caught," said the light-middleweight.
"I won the full competition without
getting a point scored against me.
I've got good defence and good
power.
"I'm more like a box-fighter. I like
to box more but when I need to
fight I fight."
