GOLDEN BOY are planning a great
bill for June 27. The show would
include a rematch between WBA
featherweight champion CHRIS
JOHN and ROCKY JUAREZ after
their draw last month, along with
SERGEI DZINDZIRUK defending his
WBO.list belt against southpaw
puncher JAMES KIRKLAND and hotshot
VICTOR ORTIZ challenging for
Ukrainian ANDREAS KOTELNIK'S
WBA light-welter strap. Kirkland is
down to fight MICHAEL WALKER on
the Ricky Hatton-Manny Pacquiao
undercard. The Golden Boy megashow
would take place at the
Staples Center in Los Angeles.

A CRACKING lightweight scrap
between Salisbury's on-form HENRY
CASTLE and Leeds' former British
super-featherweight champion
CARL JOHANESSON is in the works
for June. The pair were originally
set to meet on tonight's (Friday,
March 20) Newham bill but Carl's
trainer has been ill, disrupting the
boxer's preparation. Also in June,
ANDREW FACEY should meet his
former victim GARY WOOLCOMBE
as the former defends his English
light-middle belt.

host Ireland on a dinner show at The
Royal National Hotel in Bloomsbury,
central London.
