Brock half-blind
CALVIN BROCK, America's former
world heavyweight title challenger,
has had to retire after going blind
in his right eye.
Brock had an operation for a
detached retina last November
following a defeat by Eddie
Chambers, but soon after lost
his sight.

Klitschko date
WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO'S next
defence of the WBO, IBF and IBO
heavyweight belts will be against
TONY THOMPSON at the Color Line
Arena in Hamburg on July 12.
The match, though, is still pending
