Kelvin an ex-champ
KELVIN DAVIS, the chunky American cruiserweight,
is IBF champion no more. The IBF have stripped him
for failing to agree to defend against top contender
and former conqueror O'Nell Bell.
Davis has appealed. The IBF appeals panel will
review the decision within the next two weeks.
If the IBF uphold their action. Bell will box Canada's
Dale Brown for the vacant crown.

Vlkki LaMotta dies
• VIKKI LaMOTTA, made famous by her marriage to
former world middleweight king Jake LaMotta, died in
Boca Raton, Florida several weeks ago. She was 75.
The blonde stunner was played by Cathy Moriarty in
Raging Bull, the legendary movie of LaMotta's life. The
film highlighted their stormy marriage.
