KOSTYA TSZYU has reached the stage
in his career when he no longer
needs titles. The world No. 1 lightwelter
can take a leaf out of Marco
Antonio Barrera's book and relinquish,
save himself money in sanction fees, and
retain his status as the best in the division.
But for as long as he reigns, he should
abide by the niles of the goveming bodies.
Tszyu, though, doesn't want to fight WBC
No. 1 Gianluca Branco of Italy or Britain's
Ricky Hatton
GAMBLES sometimes pay off.

his technique, he was awarded a bronze figure
