BRITISH and European super-middleweight champion DEAN FRANCIS
makes his first trip overseas when he takes on XOLANI NGEMNTU on
the Hammanskraal show.
Francis was going to fight Joseph Tshabalala from the Transvaal
province, a 36-year-old with a patchy record but a good stayer. Now he
meets a man who is rated high y at both middle and super-middle in the
official South African ratings and who has a deceptive 7-6 record.
But Francis, who has given up the British title (see pages 4-5), should hit

Sheffield teenager KHAUD SHAFFIQ makes his debut on the bill against

to turn pro in the UK, but is tipped as the "New Naz"
