WARLEY welterweight Howard Clailie will drop down to light-welter after climbing
up from an early knockdown to hammer Sheffield's comebacking Nigel
Bradley at the Park Hall Hotel.
Bradley, having his first outing since a points defeat by Tony Swift in September
1992, retired on his stool after the sixth round. The fight was scheduled for
eight-twos.
It was a sensible withdrawal. Bradley (lOst 41bs) was banged up around both
eyes, had given his best and yet had been dropped three times as Clarke's more
p r e c i s e punching took
its toll.
