Galindez's loss of the WBA light-heavyweight title —
although it could be said that Mike Rossman didn't so much
win the title as pick it up when Galindez threw it away.

Knoetze, then a police constable,
asked the court to prevent
the Press r e p o r t i n g the incident,
on the ground that his
boxing career in America might
be damaged.
Knoetze has since resigned
from the police force to become
a farmer.
