THE incredible headline "English flop" at the Edmonton Commonwealth Games,
which appeared in the August 18 edition of Boxing News, along with a report on
the Games, prompts me to ask whether Boxing News is giving sufficient thought
to the accuracy of its reports.

Road crash kills
ex-champ Hayles
PERCY HAYLES, former Commonwealth lightweight
champion, was killed in a road accident in Kingston,
Jamaica, on August 24. He was 38.
