BRITISH middleweight champion Alan Minter is firmly on
course for his world title chance after his 12th round
knockout of Angelo Jacopucci regained him the vacant
European title, but his victory turned sour when the Italian
champion collapsed in the early hours of the following
morning and died two days later after unsuccessful operations
