Lewis and Georges Carpentier at Olympia.
IT WAS at the Albert Hall in May 1926 that I first saw Johnny Hill — John Oswald

WHO were the first two boxers to engage in a televised contest? The accepted
record books all state that the first boxing of any description to be televised was
an exhibition bout between the East End's British middleweight title challenger
Archie Sexton and Lauri Raiteri of Stratford, staged at Broadcasting House,
London, August 22,1933.
