THERE was no Cockney knees-up in the Wembley
ring this time for East End pride John H. Stracey as
Mexican-American Carlos Palomino pummelled him
to defeat in the 12th round to take Stracey's WBC
welterweight title.
ROUGH-HOUSE tactics prevailed in the Wembley
