ARGENTINA'S Carlos Monzon did the expected by putting paid to French
challenger Gratien Tonna in their WBA middleweight championship fight at the
circus tent setting of the Nouvel Hippodrome. But the fifth round finish was
unsatisfactory, with Tonna being counted out on hands and knees and then
claiming he had been hit on the back of the head.
