RICKY H A U O N readily admits
that no one is picking him to
defeat American Floyd
MayWeather in
Las Vegas on December 8.
But, like any fighter who truly believes in himself,
that has only strengthened Ricky's determination.
Listen to Hatton speak and you
realise the Mancunian, undefeated like his
opponent, isn't venturing to the US for the
money. He BELIEVES he is going to win.
"In my eyes this fight is already over," he
said, though adding he didn't wish to sound
disrespectful.
Hatton said that by the time he steps into the
ring he will have trained 13 weeks, a long time
by Ricky's standards

FORMER WBO featherweight
champion Scott Harrison, after going
through a lifetime's worth of troubles
in the last two years, has announced
he intends to return to action, perhaps
as early as December.
Harrison, 30, who was battling
alcohol addiction but insists he has not
had a drink in seven weeks, took part
in a press workout at his father Peter's
Glasgow Phoenix gym after announcing
his comeback.

THE November 10 MIGUEL C0TT0-
SHANE MOSLEY undercard features
ANTONIO MARGARITO'S return.
He meets GOLDEN JOHNSON for
the vacant WBO Intercontinental
welterweight title. JOEL
CASAMAYOR defends his WBC
interim lightweight title against
JOSE ARMANDO SANTA CRUZ while
VICTOR ORTIZ faces CARLOS
MAUSSA at welter.

ISAAC HLATSHWAYO was superbly
cool and composed as he retained
his IBO welterweight title with a
12-round unanimous points decision
over undefeated Australian Robert
Medley at the Penrith Panthers Rugby
League Club.
The South African, making his first
defence, worked behind a left jab that
was relentless and sent Medley to the
canvas in round five with a superb left
hook to the body/left hook to the
head combination.
Medley beat the count but was
cautious f r om that point on as the
unruffled Hlatshwayo continued to
pile up the points.
