LENNOX LEWIS has been ordered to defend his
European heavyweight title against former IBF cruiserweight
champion Glenn McCrory. Lewis' British title
will also be on the line. The EBU have set a deadline of
May 31 for contracts to be lodged.
But the new double champion, who stopped previously
undefeated Gary Mason in seven rounds at
Wembley earlier this month, could meet an American
opponent in May before defending
against McCrory.
