faces potentially his toughest test as a light-middleweight
when he meets Jose Ramon Gomez Fouz in the Albert
Hall chief support.

Fouz holding the Spanish tide at the lower poundage.
Green seems to be hovering between the two division,
looking noticeably fleshy in his last appearance, a sixth
round win over Gary Holmgren.

BRITISH lightweight champion Ray Cattouse had an ideal
warm-up for next month's title defence against Dave
McCabe when he comfortably outpointed Merthyr's Kerry
Collins in an eight-rounds non-title fight at the National
Sporting Club

WELSH idol Colin Jones tuned-up for a forthcoming
Commonwealth title challenge by left-hooking his way to
seventh round victory over durable Horace McKenzie at
the World Sporting Club.
The British welterweight champion, scheduled to meet
Guyana's Mark Harris for the vacant crown in March
(see page 24), fought with impressive economy and patience
before unleashing the heavy artillery.

BIG-HITTING British welterweight champion Colin Jones
chases a second title when he meets Mark Harris, from
Guyana, for the vacant Commonwealth crown at Wembley
Conference Centre on March 3.
Colin, from Gorseinon, warmed up for the fight with a
seventh round win over Horace McKenzie on Monday.
