AN agreement was this week
reached between the respective
promoters for CLINTON WOODS
and JULIO GONZALEZ, thus avoiding
purse bids.
So, as planned, Woods will
defend his IBF light-heavyweight
belt against the Mexican on the
Ricky Hatton-Jose Luis Castillo
bill in Las Vegas on June 23.
