GERMAN former two-weight WBC

has been released from jail.
"Rocky" was given nine months
for violating his probation soon
after he was released from a fivemonth
sentence for attacking a taxi
driver. Rocchigiani, who sued the
WBC when they stripped him of his
light-heavyweight crown and gave it
to Roy Jones, still receives an
annual income from them and is
now hoping to become a trainer.

Roman, who gained a close upset win
in a 10-rounder.
Roman entered the ring with a 28-4
log but an impressive 24 inside and is a
tall, straight-up basic orthodox fighter,
the kind Ouma usually feasts on.
