DONCASTER light-welterweight DEAN
BRAMHALD brought the curtain down on
his record-breaking career with a third
round victory over JAMIE MORRIS on an
emotional night at the Doncaster Moat
House.
The 30-year-old South Yorkshire boxer (lOst)
received a standing ovation from the packed
house as he made the way to the ring for his
141st fight.

THE Florida Commission is currently investigating
allegations of fight fixing. It is alleged that promoter
Rick Parker arranged for opponents for Randy Cobb
and Mark Gastineau to take dives. Brothers Sonny and
Kevin Barch claim they agreed to fall down and Rob
Russen, a former partner of Parker, is quoted as corroborating
their stories. Other fighters Max Hoard and
Tim Anderson also claim to have refused offers to
lose bouts. The Commission should be ready with
their report on the allegations soon.

EXPERIENCED campaigners Duke McKenzie and
John Davison dispute the vacant British featherweight
title at Manchester's Wythenshaw Forum
tomorrow (Saturday), knowing the prize for the winner
may be a world title fight - and for the loser it
may mean the end of a creditable career.
