SADDEST news during
my time in the States
was the death of Irish
Bobby Scanlon, a former
classy lightweight who

smoke inhalation in a fire

middleweight champion of France, arrived in Paris

phase of his preparations for challenging Hungary's
legendary Laszlo Papp, tabbed "The Gypsy" by the
local press, for his European middles title.

CANADA is deeply proud of the roaming Prairie country
which is an essential part of the life blood of the vast land
and South London's Fitzroy Lodge club will get a first hand
view of the wheat country in November.
