FISHER'S heavy-weight attraciion Roy Enifcr gained handsome revenge
over East Ham's London champion Jack Fitch with a clear-cut points
win on the star-studded Fisher show at Bermondsey Baths on Friday.

IT'S been a black year for German boxing. The two main
attractions, Erich Schoeppner and Gustav Scholz, have been
comparatively inactive. The former has had only one fight this year,
and the latter hasn't boxed since June. Heavyweight Albert Westphal,
hoping for a crack at Schoeppner's German heavyweight crown
and also a tilt at Ingo Johansson's European crown, was stopped
by American Archie McBride recently at Hamburg, a severe setback.
