Olympia, forcing American Tony Hughes to retire after five rounds. 

JOLTING Johnny Kramer, West Ham (10-5) flashed to the most impressive
win of his ring career when he knocked out high-ranking Albert Carroll,
Bethnal Green (10-6) in two rounds on this Bill Meyer promotion.

BRITISH and Empire heavyweight champion Henry Cooper, whose plans for a crack at Floyd Patterson's
world title were upset by a second round knockout at the hands of his former U.S. victim
Zora Folley last month, took the first step towards rehabilitation by stopping another American, Tony
Hughes, of Cleveland, Ohio, in the famous London circus arena, Hughes retiring at the end of the fifth
round with a cut eye.
