foRMER Scottish flyweight champion
Alex Ambrose, of Glasgow,
who lost his immediate chance of a
crack at the national bantamweight
crown when holder Johnny Morrissey
abdicated, said last week that he intended
to quit boxing.
Shortly after making the statement,
however, he changed his mind
and has now parted company with
his manager-of-a-few-weeks Dick
Delaney.

Colin Humphries (Porthcawl), the
Welsh and A.B.A. welterweight
champion, and I.en (" Lenny the
Lion") Williams (Maesteg), the
Welsh and A.B.A. Junior 8st.
champion.
