FORBES released its top 100 list
of highest-earning athletes and
Floyd Mayweather, currently in
jail, is number one after earning
$85million last year. In second
place is Filipino Manny Pacquiao
($62million), who controversially
lost to Timothy Bradley on June
9, proving the drawing power of
boxing at the top level. To put
their placings in perspective. Tiger
Woods was third, basketball player
LeBron James fourth, and tennis

died on June 21 two days after

to his trainer, Alim was not under

during the 10-rounder but he
collapsed after being declared the
winner. Alim, a professional since
2008, had a record of 12-6-1 (8).
