THAILAND'S Venice Borkorsor defends his World Boxing
Council flyweight title in Bangkok tonight (Friday) against
former champ Erbito Satavarria, of the Philippines, in a fight
that should clear up the muddle in this division.
Japan's Masao Ohba, the WBA champion, was killed in a
road smash so the winner out of Borkorsor and Salavarria is
entitled to undisputed world recognition.
It will be Borkorsor's first defence since he battered Betufio
Gonzales, of Venezuela, into submission in 10 rounds at Bangkok
last September to take the title.
