Stewart ticks over
DAVE STEWART, the London-based Scot still waiting
for his ordered British lightweight title eliminator with
Danny Hunt, tops a little TBS dinner show in Chigwell
tomorrow week (July 16).
Murray's a fan
NEW British teenage tennis hope Andrew Murray is a
big fight fan. The 18-year-old Scot who took Wimbledon
by storm revealed boxing is his favourite sport.
Murray was chuffed to read that WBO featherweight
champ Scott Harrison had invited him to go running up
mountains near Ben Nevis as a way of improving his
fitness. Murray, who has been to a few of Harrison's
fights, said he'd love to.
RAY OLIVEIRA has his first
fight since his brave losing
effort against Ricky Hatton in
London in December when he
tops back on his patch of
New Hampshire tonight
(Friday July 8).
BELFAST featherweight
prospect MARTIN UHDSAY
finally got his third pro fight
after several cancellations
and lived up to his reputation
as the new Barry NicGuigan.
