ASIDE from Ricky Hatton, Howard Eastman and Joe
Calzaghe, Scott Harrison is the only other top British
fighter I can think of capable of landing a major fight
this year against an elite champion.
Harrison, who defends his WBO featherweight belt
against Victor Polo in Renfrew on January 28, is about
to sign a new six-fight contract with Sports Network.
One of the terms of the deal is for Harrison to either
feature in a unification match or what could be termed
a 'Superfight'.
