Tszyu appeal fails
AT 30, Kostya Tszyu, WBC llght-welterwelght champion, may have only
three or four good years left in the sport, in which time he will have to
find $3.8m {Aussie money) to pay former promoter Bill Mordey.
Tszyu's appeal against an earlier judgement In favour of Mordey was
rejected on August 24 by the New South Wales Supreme Court, which
ruled the fighter had breached his contract with FIghtvislon by agreeing
to give Sky or Optus exclusive rights to his fights.
Tszyu's lawyers are contemplating making another appeal.
