JOHNNY ARMOUR returns after 13 months out
when he boxes a 12-rounder against an
opponent to be named on a Panix show at the
Elephant & Castle Leisure Centre on Tuesday
July 25 (Sky TV).
Armour last boxed in June 1999, when he
stopped Mohammed Ouzid on a Munro/Hyiand
bill (Neary-Mike Griffiths) in Dublin.
A good fight sees Eddie Knight defending his
Southern Area light-heavyweight crown against
Butch Lesley, while the 14-tight bill also features
WBU lightweight champion Colin Dunne, the
Bowen brothers, Paul and Michael, American
middleweight Tarvis Simms, South African
feather Philip Ndou, and prospect David Walker.
Dunne will be making his second appearance
In 12 days - he is also down to box on the July
13 Panix show at Yorit Hall. Both are eightrounders.
