heavyweight title against German challenger
Mario Schiesser at the city's Sporthalle

HEAVYWEIGHTS Ray Mercer and
Tommy Morrison can't afford to slip
up in Atlantic City next Thursday (July

promotion on October 23 has hit a
snag and looks unlikely to take place
because the financial backers reportedly
failed to come up
with the money.
Morrison paid a heavy
price when he defended
against Michael Bentt
last October and was
floored three times in
the first round, blowing
a huge payday with WBC
champion Lennox
Lewis.

Tucuman, Aiigentlna on
August 13.
Johnson, the former
champion who lost his
title to Jackson, is
apparently injured and
Jackson believes he
will fight Castro for the
title with the winner to
foce Johnson.
