Stephen Muchoki at the Bloomsbury Crest Hotel on

Warren, his manager and Bloomsbury promoter as
well, will get him a WBA title challenge against Santos
Laciar.

the boos of unconvinced supporters ringing in his ears.
SOUTH AFRICAN No. 1 ranked WBA heavyweight
contender Genie Coetzee, blood streaming from a cut over

PETE HANLON, England's Commonwealth Games captain
and the featherweight silver medallist in Brisbane,
looks certain to move up to lightweight if he is to continue
his amateur career.
Hanlon, from Gloucester, was forced to drop out of the England-
Scotland match in Dundee yesterday (Thursday) with
weight trouble which is now causing him acute problems according
to Len Mills the ABA secretary. Mills was Hanlon's area
representative for many years as secretary of the Western
Counties division.
Dublin-born Hanlon, who won ABA featherweight tides in
1978 and 1981, has been rumoured as having trouble making nine
stone for several seasons and throughout his career has suffered
persistent hand injuries.
