he defends his European middleweight title against African
dangerman Sumbu Kalambay in the 12 rounds main event
at Wembley on Tuesday.
G r a h am is lined up to fight for the vacant WBA title,

REIMS — May 16: Former WBA flyweight champion Santos Laciar became world
champion at a second weight when he stopped WBC super-flyweight champion Gilberto
Roman of Mexico in the 11th of a scheduled 12-rounder.
Italian r e f e r e e Angelo Poletti stopped the bout on the advice of the ringside doctor after
inspecting a bad cut over the champion's left eye.
TURNING on a tremendous display of two-handed hitting,
Evander Holyfield crushed Rickey Parkey in the third of
their scheduled 15-round battle of the world cruiserweight
champions at Caesars Palace Sports Pavilion.
The undefeated Holyfield captured Parkey's International
Boxing Federation title. But Holyfield's World
Boxing Association title was not at stake, the WBA having
refused to sanction the bout due to a dispute between the
world body and the State of
Nevada.
